Kest holds opening and closing chapel at the beginning and end of every semester. It also conducts staff and student small group fellowships that happen concurrently throughout the semester. The KEST Chapel is a central part of student life at the Kampala Evangelical School of Theology (KEST). It serves as the institution's primary gathering place for worship, spiritual formation, and Christian fellowship, supporting KEST's mission of preparing men and women for effective ministry in the Church and society.
The KEST Chapel is more than a place of worship; it is a vital environment where students are nurtured spiritually, equipped for Christian leadership, and encouraged to apply biblical principles in their daily lives and future ministries. It reflects the institution's vision of developing a church that is Christ-like in character, witness, and service to society.
Kest has two CECs namely: Kiboga and Hoima.
The Community Engagement Centres (CECs) are an extension of the Kampala Evangelical School of Theology's mission to make theological education accessible to pastors and Christian leaders who are unable to attend the main campus in Kampala. KEST introduced these centres around 2012 to overcome barriers such as distance, financial constraints, and work commitments.
Kiboga CEC: Serves churches and Christian leaders in Kiboga District and the surrounding regions providing accessible theological education to pastors and church workers within their local communities.
Hoima CEC: Extends KEST's theological training to western Uganda, equipping pastors, evangelists, and church leaders with sound biblical and theological knowledge.
